Prog.AI is a recruitment platform that helps startups and companies search and hire the best software developers by analyzing their code.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how Prog.AI works:

  1. Sign up for an account on Prog.AI. You'll need to login with your Gmail or Outlook account and complete the registration process. This will give you access to a free trial that includes 10 credits for 14 days.

  2. Search for candidates. To search for candidates, you can use Prog.AI's AI search or use classic search filters manually — technical skills, bonus skills, location, seniority, and more. Alternatively, you can upload your job description and Prog.AI will parse all the skills into a search form for you. You can also search for "rock stars" (highly skilled developers) by selecting the "Rock Stars" option in the search form. If you want to browse through candidates' GitHub repositories, click on the "GitHub" tab in the top menu and enter a keyword or repository name to search for candidates with relevant experience.

  3. Create a new project. After you've found candidates that match your search criteria, you can add them to a new project by clicking the "Add to project" button on their profiles. This will create a new project with the selected candidates.

  4. Download candidates' contact information or send emails. When you're ready to contact candidates, you can either download their contact information as a CSV file or send them emails through the outreach tool. Each of these actions will cost a certain number of credits, depending on your current pricing plan. You can track your credit balance and see how many credits you have left to use in your account settings.

We hope this guide helps you understand how Prog.AI works and how it can help you find the best software developers for your team. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
